We were looking for a career counselor for my twins to help them in their career choices. Came across Deepa through a reference. Deepa came as a mentor, whom my kids could talk freely. One of my twins was reluctant to the idea of counselling. But she was overjoyed after the first session as Deepa is a good listener and not prejudiced. 2 years back, like every average Indian teenager I was also caught in the midst of the JEE entrance, uncertain future and all that. However a more in depth report would have made an easier read for parents and the child, to understand the child's traits and their interpretation with respect to the career options generated. Beneficial career mentoring We came to know about the career counselling conducted by Deepa madam through a friend who had availed her services. The sessions started with a detailed call with me, where we discussed about my son’s likes and dislikes from birth till date. Subsequent sessions with my son included discussions, self evaluation tests and guidance to choose an apt career path. Although we had an idea what our kid was interested in, these sessions gave it a meaningful direction and also guided him to the available courses and colleges offering suitable courses. I joined this program right after my class 12 started. I had certain ideas and clarity on what to do after 12th but I needed to know more. I wanted to know more about what are my opportunities and career choices and this program helped a lot with that. I had 4 sessions with Deepa ma'am which gradually clarified my possible future prospects. I absolutely adored my sessions with her as I could speak to her very freely and there was never a doubt of judgement coming from her side. I benefited immensely from those 4 sessions and I recommend this session to any Senior school student!
